£1,700 raised to support our hospitals by local schools celebrating NHS76!

Epsom and St Helier Hospitals charity are delighted to announce that they raised over £1,700 during their NHS76 schools fundraising campaign.

Throughout the end of June and start of July, they visited 10 schools alongside some amazing ESTH staff members to deliver assemblies about the NHS, our hospitals and the importance of their role. In return, students fundraised by wearing blue, holding book sales and bringing in coins to celebrate the NHS and support their local hospitals.

Molly Simpson, Head of Charity said “We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported this campaign. Special thanks to all the staff members who dedicated their time to speak to students, and a big thank you to all the schools that participated. It was inspiring to see how many children were born at our hospitals, have family working here or, aspire to work for the NHS in the future.”

A big thank you to the following staff members who volunteered their time:

Ramona Lichi- Senior Sister
Kristine Damberg- Doctor
Sian Louise Parker- Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist
Courtney France- Nurse Associate
